My experience

I have been teaching since 2007. I have been the NQT mentor in my current school since 2013, and have carried out training for NQTs for the local authority in maths, with a focus on challenge.

I had responsibility for the assessment of Year Six from 2011 until 2018 and have supported Year Six teachers in other schools in developing their teaching and learning of maths and literacy.

I have been a writing moderator for five years and have run several moderation hubs in Southwark for Key Stage Two teachers in order to support assessment and planning.

Come and see me

  • The teaching of writing – supporting and challenging children with a wide variety of needs and abilities.
  • Purposeful and engaging maths lessons in Key Stage Two, with a focus on problem solving.
