Sarah Botchway
Teaching School Hub Director
Sarah Botchway boasts a 20-year career in education, covering a broad spectrum from teaching 3-year-olds through to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, along with adults in London and Paris. Sarah has held many significant leadership positions, including Headship and Associate Headteacher in London, Her current role is Director for the London South Teaching School Hub, part of The Charter Schools Educational Trust. The Teaching School focuses on supporting Department for Education (DfE) initiatives for teacher recruitment and retention. Her responsibilities span from initial teacher training to the continuous professional development of teachers, school and trust leaders across Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark.
Emily Crow
Teaching School Hub Deputy Director
Emily Crow, a previous Charles Dickens Primary School teacher, has teaching experience across both key stages. Emily has also held senior leadership positions in Kent schools.
Her role is Deputy Director of the London South Teaching School Hub, part of The Charter Schools Educational Trust. Emily leads DfE-accredited programmes such as the Behaviour Hub and Flexible Working Ambassador Schools. More recently, Emily has led work with Impact on Urban Health to support schools' funding implementation to improve children's health priorities.
Kate McCole
Assistant Director
Kate joined the team in 2018, overseeing the management and delivery of all London South TSH’s programmes and supporting the hubs network of member schools and partner organisations. Before joining London South, Kate worked at Ambition Institute (formerly the Future Leaders Trust), overseeing the delivery of leadership development programmes for school and MAT leaders.
