What does it involve?

If you’re studying STEM, Languages or Design & Technology, our paid three-week internship puts you right at the heart of the classroom.

Get hands-on experience, work alongside expert teachers, and find out if teaching is the career for you.

  • Location: The Charter School Education Trust
  • Pay: Up to £455 per week

Who can apply?

We’re looking for motivated 2nd, 3rd or final-year undergraduates, or Master’s students, with the right to work in the UK, studying:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Computing
  • Mathematics
  • Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)
  • Design & Technology

What you’ll do

During the internship, you’ll:

  • Learn from the best – shadow experienced teachers and observe great practice
  • Support pupils – work as a teaching assistant and run small intervention groups
  • Get involved – help with trips, clubs and wider school life
  • Step up – team-teach a full lesson by the end of the programme
